1.I have 3 big pet peeves
-unpainted toe nails
-when people don’t put the toilet paper on the roll
-really loud breathing (which I do now that I am big prego)

2. I love to cook, dinner, dessert, breakfast anything, but I hate to grocery shop

3. I can use a public bathroom without touching anything, Now that is a real talent

4. I love make-up, and I have a ton of it, I always think I need more and I like the expensive crap too. I love to walk through the make-up counter in the department stores, and look at all the new products.

5.My favorite thing is to take a shower. When I’m sad, mad, or just having a bad day I take a shower and instantly feel better. It’s the place that I go to clear my head.

6. I love noise, I always have to be talking, or the TV has to be on or the radio, there just has to be some kind of background noise.

Halloween Party

On Saturday we went to my parents wards trunk-or treat. Me and Matt were lame and didn't dress up, but I did go in my super cool wheelchair!! I still was up walking around way too much, and have been paying for it ever since, but that's ok becuase it was so fun. There was good food, fun friends there, and lots of candy. My Dad won the award for "craziest costume" and he was very proud of that fact. Not that his costume was that crazy, it's just that people don't really expect the Bishop to come dressed as a thug. And not only did he dress the part, he walked the part, and talked the part, and thought he was pretty cool!! When I was looking at the pictures from this night Matt looks kinda high in all of them, makes you wonder huh?!?!?! J/K

My big adventure

33 weeks and 5 days. I know I've been a slacker with posting, but really how much do I have to say when I never leave the house. I do have something new to tell, and it's not exciting, but it's something. So Wednesday I went to the doctor for a check-up. I'm 60% efaced (I don't know how to spell that)and my cervix is really soft, so he said that he will probably come between 36 and 38 weeks, wow that's really soon!! So he also said that since I'm doing good that I can occasionally leave the house and go to dinner or a movie or something. So on Friday my Mom was going to Costco and I decided to go with her in my wheelchair. It is so not easy to try to shop in a wheelchair! My mom pushed me in the chair and I steered the cart with my feet, she would say turn left and we would make a really wide turn. Yes we definintely got some crazy looks. People are not all that couteous to people in a wheelchair,they either stare at you or ignore you. They didn't even yield to us, so I almost got in a couple fender benders. I know that I must have looked a little strange to anyone who really looked at me because I obviously had use of my legs, so I guess that I must have looked just like a really lazy person. Then on Saturday I went with Matt to JC Penny to get him some work/church clothes. That was not so easy, at least at Costco the rows are huge. The rows were really narrow and my chair couldn't fit through, and Matt walks so fast I had some major motion sickness when we left. It was an eventful weekend and it was so nice to be out of the house. So as hard as this bed rest thing has been, at least it's only temporary and I'm so thankful for 2 good legs that work.

Happy Birthday Mattie!!!

Happy 26th Birthday to you!!! Today is Matt's birthday and he decided he wanted me to give the 26 reasons why I love him, because he saw this on Tara's blog and thought he needed one too, so here is goes!!

1. He loves me as much as I love him
2.. He is the greatest friend a girl could ask for
3.. He speaks Spanish like a Mexican, and it’s so cute to watch him change from English Matt, to Mexican Matt
4.. He has been so good to me and so sensitive, with all of our fertility stuff.
5. He may make fun of all my stupid girlie shows that I watch, but in the end he usually ends up loving them as much as I do.
6. He has a strong testimony, and is such a good teacher
7. He is my favorite shopping buddy. He tells me what he thinks and he usually lets me get whatever I want.
8. He always tries to make me happy
9. He is the goofiest kid ever. And I know that may not seem like the best thing always, but he always keeps me entertained, and laughing
10..He has the cutest smile
11. He lets me talk all I want, and about whatever I want, and only sometimes rolls his eyes, but never tells me to be quiet, even if its really late at night and he is trying to sleep
12. He is a really clean person
13. He doesn’t stay mad for very long
14. He is always taller than me, no matter what shoes I wear.
15. He is the funniest dancer, and he’s pretty good even though he doesn’t think so.
16. He is almost as big of a social butterfly as I am
17. He is so good with kids, and loves kids I know he’s going to be the best dad
18. He usually apologizes first (he should he is the one that is always wrong! J/K)
19. He keeps me in line, when I’m being too crazy, snotty, or loud
20. He’s so laid back, compared to crazy me
21. He lets me choose where we go eat, and hardly ever complains because I don’t like Red Robin.
22. He always stays so calm, cool, and collected in a scary situation

24. He is a hard worker, even though he plays a lot at work too.
25. He always does the dishes, and he will even clean the house, and do the laundry sometimes.

My life

My older brother Jordan got married on September 15th in the Salt Lake Temple, to his fiancee Brooke. It was a beautiful wedding, or so I was told I was other wise engaged and could not make it. You might be wondering what could I possibly have been doing that was more important than going to own brothers wedding? Well take a look.........

Most of you probably know the story but here is a quick recap. We spent the night at my parents cabin in Parowen, our pit stop on our way to Salt Lake for the wedding. That night I woke up having a lot of contractions and labor pains again. I tried to go back to sleep in hopes that they would just go away. When I got up in the morning to get ready I was still having contractions and now I was bledding. So my Dad drove us to the hospital in Cedar City, where they hooked up monitors,IV's, and did a major check up, and took like a gallon of my blood. I was still having contractions like a minute and a half apart and they thought I was going to need an emergency c-section. Well the hospital in Cedar can't handle a baby that premature, so they called and ambulance and took me to St. George in it. Let me just say I wish that they would fix all the pot holes and bumps on that stretch from Cedar to St. George, because that would have made the ride a little bit more comfortable. Well they got me stabalized in St. George and I had to stay there until Sunday (so i missed the wedding) I am now on for real bed rest. The kind that I get to shower once a day, go to the bathroom, and come to the table to eat dinner. So keep me informed on all your lives becuase I have no connection with the outside world anymore, and it can get really boring! I just want to say thanks to my mom who takes care of me all day long, it's like she has a toddler at home with her that she has to do everything for!!

Catching Up

I know I am way past over due for a new post. Yes my life has been that dole that I couldn't think of anything to post. I was put on modified bed rest last week, which means I have to take it kinda easy. I guess my long working hours and my nonstop busy body personality finally caught up to me and my bpdy is saying SLOW DOWN LADY!! My doctor had me take the week off work and wants me to quit until I have the baby, I had one week off and I am already bored, I don't know what I would do until December. I'm going back to work tommorow and just really cutting back on my hours. So I pretty much just hang out now. We did find out that we are suppose to close on our new house by the end of the month, so that is always good.Talk about when it rains it ours huh. Our house actually is ahead of schedule, I didn't think that ever happened. We have been living at my parents house since the beggining of April and they have been really good sports. I know they are gonna miss us when we leave, we keep it exciting there!!! j/k So I put some pics of our house over the past few months.

Men are Babies!!

So Matt woke up on Thursday with a sore throat, and the rest of the weekend has gone downhill from there. Matt has felt worse and worse everyday. Of course this is the weekend we are babysitting 5 kids. Matt has layed in bed and slept all weekend, and when he does wake up he goes from being grouchy to the biggest baby ever,and has been no help at all its like having an extra kid to take care of. He keeps walking around hunched over and shuffling his feet, complaining how his body aches, he is freezing and then he's so hot. It's pretty funny. I love to take care of him since he is sick, I know that my dad acts the same way when he is sick and I was just wondering why MEN ARE SUCH BABIES?? Come on I stood at work for 4 months throwing up and feeling like crap all day long, and I know I complained alot but I made it through the day. Now I have to give Matt some credit, he doesn't ever complain, and he rarely gets sick but when he does- WATCH OUT!!
