Men are Babies!!

So Matt woke up on Thursday with a sore throat, and the rest of the weekend has gone downhill from there. Matt has felt worse and worse everyday. Of course this is the weekend we are babysitting 5 kids. Matt has layed in bed and slept all weekend, and when he does wake up he goes from being grouchy to the biggest baby ever, and has been no help at all its like having an extra kid to take care of. He keeps walking around hunched over and shuffling his feet, complaining how his body aches, he is freezing and then he's so hot. It's pretty funny. I love to take care of him since he is sick, I know that my dad acts the same way when he is sick and I was just wondering why MEN ARE SUCH BABIES?? Come on I stood at work for 4 months throwing up and feeling like crap all day long, and I know I complained alot but I made it through the day. Now I have to give Matt some credit, he doesn't ever complain, and he rarely gets sick but when he does- WATCH OUT!!

I know... men are babies. Wait until you have that baby and then he'll realize oh wait that is real pain.

Men are totally pathetic when they are sick. One time Cory had the flu and I went to check on him, and he was getting dressed. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going to the store for some soup. Then he looked at me with these eyes that said, "I am so sick but I am so brave that I am going to the store." Oh brother. That is his way of asking for soup without really asking. I wanted to punch him in the nose.

Women are just made stronger. We have go through nasty periods every month, give birth the babies, breast feed, etc...the list could go on. Getting sick is something us women just tolerate like everything else.

hahah Walk it off. I love it Becky. I have such a hard time being sympathetic towards people who say they "don't feel good" now that I am pregnant.....rude huh? A lady at work went home with an upset stomache. BOO HOO

Hi Katie, this is Katie Mills! I ran across your blog! I got the weirdest phone call the other day. I answered and someone said "Hi Katie, this is Megan" and I said "Hi" because I know a few Megans. Then she asked me if I was getting a big stomach and how I was feeling. That is when I remembered Megan at the salon, I said this is Katie Mills, are you trying to get a hold of Katie Gregory? I feel bed because she was a little embarassed. I ended up giving her your number, because I still had it in my phone from back then. Anyways... I just wanted to know how you are, and to see if she ever got a hold of you! I didn't know that you left the salon? I hope you are doing good.

Chad is exactly the same way...but then if I am sick do you think that he would stay home to help me out with the 3 kids...NO! Men could NEVER do half of the things that we do!

Okay, I totally sound like I am bashing men a little bit...and I mean to come off like that. We love them and are thankful for all that they do for us but sometimes all you want to say is Grow Up!
